Our Company

TINTSR CREATIONS was founded / formed and registered in Mumbai, India in 2014 with a mission to popularise and sell the Indian hand-made crochet products.

At TINTSR we consider that when someone buys a product, they should want know everything about it. The design should provoke questions about where it came from, who made it and how far it has travelled. These are important questions.

And so, by prudently sourcing materials, refining patterns, and expanding techniques to improve functionality, the style will take care of itself.

Growing up in Bharat, TINTSR co-founder and designer Mrs. Dhruti developed an appreciation for handmade crochet products and a respect for the traditional crafts that were passed down to her through generations. The idea that families can be supported by a handicraft industry and in turn support their local community is still alive and well active in many parts of the world. This pursuit must be honoured and supported to keep tradition alive in the face of global manufacturing.

TINTSR sees their designs embarking on new adventures where they become essential, long-lasting, timeless pieces to be treasured and enjoyed.

TINTSR CREATIONS further developed and registered the trademark of Handmade Indian Crochet popularly known as RDhruti® which further went on to developing an exclusive online store for selling its products on RDHRUTI.COM

Probably the first & only one organised company in this segment/industry of handmade crochet products also giving a strong fillip to concept of “Make In India” laid by our India’s Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi.

RDhruti ® caters to fashion forward individuals of all ages, shapes and sizes. We aim to give our customer ease, comfort and versatility through their wardrobe, while also making a strong style statement.

Dhruti and her team of artisans are involved in the entire manufacturing process from start to finish – Dreaming up of the product, sketching its design, pattern making, & stitching is first done by Dhruti herself, and the later part of fitting and final finishing is taken up by her trained and skilled artisans in limited editions in our humble studio. Our every product crafted individually by us in our studio is one of a kind.

We favour the use of natural threads, vintage materials and traditional techniques, which is what we believe makes our work artisanal and sets us apart from the rest. Our pieces often feature hand embellishment such as hand dyeing, painting, beading, embroidery and appliqué, telling the wearer a story of a product which is made with love.

Dhruti has redefined and modernized the traditional Indian Crochet in the world of hand art. Dhruti is best known for her versatility in designing and manufacturing anything and everything in crochet brought to her by her client’s sheer imagination about a design or a product which she translates into reality. Her strong sense and understanding of colour and occasion has made her the only go to person by the crochet lovers. Today, Dhruti is unarguably India’s youngest crochet designer and expert.

Dhruti began crafting objects with her own hands from a young age. Whether it was drawing, painting, sculpting, piecing together – if it could be made, she wanted to make it. Dhruti started showing interest in crochet at a very young age of 15 when she used to see her grandmother crocheting all round the day. It was at that tender age when she first got inclined towards crochet and started learning. She used to carefully watch every stitch/move done by her grandmother, and immediately tried doing the same and this is how she was a natural learner and then there was no looking back. She learnt the entire art in no time. She kept on pursuing and making new items, new products, trying new ideas and designs all throughout her graduation days as and when time permitted. Her skills in hand art, pattern design and love of handcraft techniques and workmanship had evolved to create a range of fashion products which was completely unique and original.

Her father was a big time Saree, Kurta & Dresses dealer who travelled across the country and filled the house with precious objects. Her mother was a fashion fanatic whose extensive wardrobe spilled over with perfectly tailored clothing, diamonds, designer bags and shoes. Inevitably, this background has become the foundation of Dhruti‘’s inspiration, and has shaped her ‘more is more’ aesthetic.

Then on, Dhruti revolutionized her designs and introduced the concept of Designer Crochet before her first public exhibition when she completely evolved as a designer of crochet products known as “Dhruti’s Crochet’” over twelve years ago sometime in 2003.

The designer made her inroads with all the leading exhibitors of India and became one of the most recognized names in the Indian Handmade Crochet Designing industry across India and abroad. She has exhibited her products in over 100s of high profile Hotel Galleries and standalone Fashion Galleries across all metros and major cities of India. She has held solo exhibitions of her artwork and accessories.

In 2013, Dhruti decided to venture into mainstream designing with high-profile branding of her crochet products as ‘RDhruti ®’. With this revolutionary launch, she further created waves and received immense appreciation for creating glamorous ensembles with Indian traditional threads, craftsmanship and textures at her exhibition with ‘The Vivanta’ by Taj in November 2013. By this, Dhruti clearly marked her foothold in the “Indian Handmade Crochet industry”. Today, Dhruti is unarguably India’s youngest crochet designer and expert.

Across 12 years of her career, Dhruti has her contribution to designing of fashion apparels as well. She has every time made unique designs for many brides-to-be giving them something out-of-the-world for their big day. Her all time lovers have also bestowed Dhruti with many appreciations and acclaims for creating magic with her apparels, her distinct style and her ability to envision a look for the character.
